Cindy Huang
CO-FOUNDER & PARTNER
Cindy Huang founded EC Capital after success in a number of sectors. Her experience has been an incredible asset for us and has led us to consider some companies we might otherwise have overlooked.
In addition to being the co-founder of Edgewater Capital Group and Edgewater Innovation Fund, Cindy is also the CEO/founder of EC Lending Group, a mortgage lending company. With her over 18 years of experience in banking and investment banking, she has also co-founded the FinTech join-venture Swifa, an open banking, cross-border payment and loan technology fund. Cindy also serves as CEO/founder of Apex Financial Holdings, a bankcorp holding company handling banking acquisition. In her pursuit and support of women's empowerment, she is also one of the founding members of the "Women Leadership in Philanthropy Fund (WLPF)" housed at the Asian Pacific Community Fund.
Cindy holds both Bachelor and Master degrees in Science from National Taiwan University, with focuses on global climate research
and GPS systems development. She currently lives in Los Angeles.
Zach Zhang

With a background in high-risk investments, ZACH ZHANG is a VC veteran and an incredible Managing Director. There’s no doubt EC CAPITAL would not have such an impressive portfolio without Zach.
Mr. Zhang is the co-founder of EWI Investments, Edgewater Innovation Fund and Edgewater Capital Group. Zachary has had more than fifteen years experience in the investment industry and his investments include:
SpaceX, Palantir, Vigin HyperLoop One, HyperLoop Transportation Technologies (HTT), WrightSpeed, Virtuosys/VEEA, Eyenovia (NASD: EYEN), Bio Cancell, QuecTel (SH: 603236), Fair.com, Headman
Machinery, TechWin Technology, EverGrand Real Estate, Atura Technology and Senodia Technologies.
Mr. Zhang also serves as board member of Hong Kong Cithatra Investment, Virtuosys/VEEA, and HyperLoop Transportation Technologies. Prior to EdgeWater Investments, Zachary worked at Franklin Templeton Investments and Millennium Capital. Zachary holds Master’s degree in MPA from USC (University of Southern California) in 2005 and B.S. degree from APU (Azusa Pacific University) in 2003.
